Sidi Bou Said in Photos

A mini guide to Sidi Bou Said, one of the most beautiful Mediterranean villages in Tunisia. Where to stay, what to eat, how to get there, top tips.

I was lucky enough to visit the beautiful Sidi Bou Said before the Arab Spring whilst sailing around Africa with the Phoenician Ship Expedition.

My travel companions mocked me for stopping to take a photo of every blue door and window, but that’s how I roll. I took way too many photos fit in one post, so please humour me with another one.

These photos are beautiful, I wouldn’t blame you for taking all the photos of blue doors šŸ˜€ I’d never heard of this city before, thanks for bringing it to my attention!

Super dreamy. My husband and I were supposed to go to Tunisia as part of our honeymoon, but decided against it after the attacks in Sousse and the Bardo – it was 2015 after all. I’m dying to get there sometime, but will have to make due with your gorgeous pictures for now! šŸ™‚

A great excuse to go back one day, I say. Where did you go instead?
